2009 New Years Resolutions

As usual, I have 5 resolutions for 2009 that I plan to do my best to live up to.
  1. Write an iPhone application

  2. Limit myself to 2 Greens+ chocolate bars per week - You may remember that I have a bit of an addiction to these

  3. Exercise at least 5 days a week

  4. Straighten the house each night before I go to bed - I started this habit a few days ago and I like it so much I want to make it a regular thing

  5. Visit 2 new places this year - I make this resolution every year. I think it's a good one.

Good luck with your resolutions. What's an I-Pod application? My young friend Shannon has an I-Pod which she plugs into my computer for recharging. Seems like a major rip-off to me. Needs to be charged every ten minutes and costs 99 cents for every song she wants to download. Grrr. (And now I feel like a cranky old fart.)

Do you have any two new places in mind for your last resolution?

That's an iPhone application, not an iPod application. It's an application that runs on an iPhone, rather than on a computer. iPhones are pretty much like tiny little laptops these days.

I've never gotten into the iPods either. I don't understand why people feel the need to carry a whole database of music around with them everywhere they go.

No place in mind for my 2 new places, but I have had a hankering to go to Hawaii lately. Or maybe Thailand.

Thanks for the explanation. I don't know much about i-phones either or even cell phones. I live in my little cave half in and half out of the modern world.

Hawaii (high on my list) and Thailand both sound good to me... or Bali. Always thought Bali would be a cool place to go.... or Ireland... or Japan or Scandinavia... or...

Great resolutions-I love that visiting two new places idea. Two friends are going to New Zealand this summer-looks like a great vacation plan from what they described.

I am an iPod fan, but probably because I teach music. It is brilliant because I set up playlists for each grade level and don't have to lug CD's around. I would LOVE to get an iPhone, but that will be awhile.
